Chancellor’s Directors, Grant Farnell and David Torkington are delighted to announce the further expansion of our support team with the recruitment of Vicki Allan and Alyson McKay.

Alyson first joined the Financial Services industry in Scotland back in 1991, working for one of Britain’s biggest and best-known insurance companies, Standard Life. She then gained further valuable experience working for a subsidiary of one of the world’s biggest banks and then a fund management group.

Outside of work, Alyson enjoyed watching her three sons play sport when they were growing up and now, whenever possible, she takes the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor and sporting lifestyle herself.

When time allows and the weather is not so good, she plays piano and guitar, as well as enjoying reading and cooking.

Since moving “south of the border”, Alyson supports her adopted football team, Manchester City, so she is in good company at Chancellor where Vicky Seddon, Dave Torkington and Dave Heaton are all “Blues”!

Vicki brings to Chancellor 25 years’ experience working within our industry. As well as working in the advisory sector, she also worked within a major fund management group for several years.

When she is not hard at work helping our clients, her colleagues and Chancellor’s advisers, Vicki loves to attend live music events and over the years has seen some legends of popular music including Take That, Coldplay, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, and George Michael!

Vicki supports Chancellor’s local team, Bolton Wanderers, and is looking forward to attending matches once again with her family, when the COVID restrictions allow them to do so. Attending a post lockdown Duran Duran concert is also hopefully on the cards!
